November 2005 Las Vegas Hilton, Nov 20th 2005 confirms that GWI’s Van Loveren Papillon will be their “House” Sparkling wine starting in December 2005. Also confirm taking a selection of South African and Spanish wines for their new wine bar/retail wine store being launched Dec 15th. 
November 2005 World Gourmet Summit Las Vegas, November 2005. GWI wins Grand Trophies for Best wines for Austria (Tscheppe “Single Vineyard” Sauvignon Blanc), Australia (Bethany Cabernet /Merlot) & Spain (Alabanza Seleccion).  GWI premier new Australian portfolio’s of Frog Rock & Bethany, receiving great market reaction and substantial pre-orders ($25,000 plus initial pre-orders for Bethany alone) from many clients adding to the “distribution pipeline opportunity” that GWI presents as “one stop shopping”
  2005 SWD & GWI confirm major marketing Agreement. SWD is part of a major Spanish Company which also own 75 Four & Five Star Hotels (http://www.ac-hoteles.com)as well as 8 major vineyards in Spain.  SWD has entered into an exclusive partnership relationship with GWI in the USA and have committed the financial marketing resources to grow their wine sales to 6 million bottles per year within 5 years (approximately $60 million per annum of Sales). 
November 2005 American Wine Society Annual Conference (700 plus) in Las Vegas, November 4th & 5th, 2005.  Jeremy Wilkinson presented the South African Wine Master Class to rave reviews and substantial interest in the GWI portfolio from the cross national audience.
November 2005 Just Like Home – November 2005.  Jeremy Wilkinson featured on “Just Like Home” – Texas Cable Cooking Show Thanksgiving Special featuring 6 GWI wines – being aired 18 times prior to Thanksgiving.  Majestic (one of the largest wine retailers in Dallas/Fort Worth pick up 16 wines from the GWI portfolio.

October 2005 Whole Foods, Las Vegas – 22nd October 2005.  Launch by Whole Foods of GWI as their South African Portfolio in Nevada.  Sales have been excellent with GWI launching a pouring/educational marketing campaign every weekend through the end of 2005.
October 2005 Ohio, October 2005.  GWI launched our portfolio in Ohio for the first time through WWW our distributor. Market reaction has been excellent with an additional order in November.
  2005 Single Malt Scotch – Leinburn, Speyside, Scotland. September 2005 United Airlines – September/October 2005.  Carry Van Loveren Riesling as their chosen white wine for Domestic First Class.
August 2005 United Airlines – August 2005.  Executed contract with GWI to supply 4,000 cases in 2006 for International Business Class – Van Loveren Chardonnay * Van Loveren Sauvignon Blanc.
August 2005 New Vineyards from Austria – August 2005. March 2005 Houston Texas. The Houston Rodeo Uncorked Wine event at the Astrodome was a great event – with over 4,000 people. This Wine Show is fast becoming one of the biggest and best in the USA. GWI entered 6 wines and we had 2 wines in the top 30 (out of 1,200 wines entered in a “blind tasting” competition):

February 2005 United Airlines, Chicago, Illinois. United Airlines has once again selected another South African wine from the Great Wines portfolio! Following the choice by United in 2004 for Van Loveren Chardonnay 2003 and Van Loveren Riesling to be served in International Business Class, United Airlines have chosen the Van Loveren Riesling 2004 for Domestic First Class in 2005. In 2003, United served Lanzerac Chardonnay in International First Class, and served Van Loveren River Red and Sauvignon Blanc in International Business class.
